I got my 4th egg in the past 2 weeks from 10 molting (I think they are anyway) 15 month old production red hens....

7 today, from about two dozen hens, but one is raising babies, and they range in age from spunky pullet layers to a few grizzled old gals who are destined for the stew pot in the very near future. And it was a slow day: 12 + is typical this time of year...
