only 1 but they started 4 days ago still young 17 weeks some days i get 2 other days 4 but today only 1

How fun is this? I have 30, 4mo old chicks not laying yet of course. Went to a livestock auction yesterday and bought 2 beautiful 10mo RIR hens. By the time we got them home there was an egg in the cage. Both layed today as well. So I can officially say 2 woo hoo! One of the eggs is so huge that it barely fits in the egg carton. The lid wont close. I also got 2 free black silkies??? Owner wasnt sure what they were but they have feathered feet. They are pretty young yet. My older girls didnt like them. Now I have them in a small dog kennel till we figure something out. Should I reintroduce or just keep them separate? I have now been introduced to chicken math!
