How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

5 out of 7 today and 5 is a first for us. One hen is just not old enough. One, it seems, is a freeloader and just here for the food <- this would be our RIR named Crispy. The RIR is now laying eggs with harder shells so they don't get broken immediately!

8 for 11 but I still can't find my blue EE's stash. I know she is laying in the woods somewhere but where ever it is she hides them good. that or she hasn't laid in 10 days.

She is the only one with blue eggs so I know she owes me some.

one had a hole poked in it. I doubt it was on purpose. nothing was eaten out of it just a small hole like from a toe nail.
Cracked it open and was a double yoke but did not feel safe eating it because the hole.

3 eggs from 4 laying girls! We've got two who aren't laying yet and are waiting for them to earn their keep. Pretty soon I;m going to get out there and start telling them they look juicy and delicious, so they better get going. That's what I did with our Brahma and she starting laying pronto! haha!
