i got 2. my silkie started laying yesterday.

I have 29 hens. I'm getting anywhere from 24 to 27 eggs a day. Not bad. BUT, I have feed infront of them at all times. They go into the barnyard during the day and in the barn at night. Untill about a month ago the production went down to about 10-12 eggs a day. I started leaving their lights on and production doubled. It's amazing.

9/10....seems that most of the time, most of the girls lay every every 24 hrs. and a couple every 36.
