0 my only hen got killed and she was almost laying age...if the shorter days didnt make her not lay. cant wait till next year when the days are longer and my new babies(if i have any hatch) will be laying

I just medicated my girls so I have to throw out all the eggs for a couple weeks, and it's hurting me! From 5 Easter Eggers, 2 Barred Rock, 2 Delawares, and 2 Black Jersey Giants we get on average 8-9 a day, and such a beautiful rainbow of colors. I have stored away 3 18pack, 2 dozen, and am working through an 18pack. Oh my, will this be enough? Usually I donate these away but I hesitate, I've gotten very use to my daily stash of fresh eggs. Must be that chicken addiction thing.
