Yesterday...Eleven out of sixteen....I'm finally getting cute little brown eggs

So far this morning five white one brown

okay so i need to be cool about this i dont want to jink it two days in a row ive gotten 4 eggs its been four months since ive even gotten one.. so

5/9 woulda been 6 but fussy fuzzy butt decided to lay hers in the woods.

O....N.....E....!!!!!!! Yep, I didn't stutter....one lousy egg...from 13 chickens!!!! I give the 6 Australorps some slack as they are still in the molting stage(they are a year and 8 months old) but the younger girls(this springs hatch) have shut down too. We've been averaging 3 eggs a day lately but today is the pits!!! Guess I'll dig out the axe and start strolling through the yard
