How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I'm lined up for a 9-egg day, if Hermione can get her act together...

13/13!!!!! And the best news is that I FINALLY got a colored egg on Saturday! I had given up all hope of getting any blue or green eggs...but there was the cutest little green egg in the nest on Saturday. On sunday,and again today, I caught a cute little black hen... (pure auracana mixed with who knows what, but she is black, black legs, pea comb and an adorable little beard) in the box, so I waited for her to finish... and both days,

another cute light olive green egg1 I am so excited, you would think they were my first eggs ever!

I was getting 5 out of 5 but lately if I get 2 I'm lucky... it's getting colder here.

13!!! First time ever.... the reds always wait til last in the day to lay their eggs. So, it was ten white, then along came three beautiful little brown ones

Two more of my brown leggies layed their first eggs today. Now have three of four leggies laying and either one of two lav orpies laying almost every day or both laying -on alternating days. I tend to think just one since I should have had them lay the same day at least once in the month I've had the girls. All are pullets.

I usually have about 24 by this time each day but today I have FOUR. It got into the low 20's last night which is extremely unusual for our neck of the woods. Hopefully the girls will lay later in the day as it warms past freezing.

I have been getting 3 eggs(6 hens). Today I got 5 eggs! I am from Minnesota & it continues to get colder here! I was so surprised! The barred rock special needs hen is leading the pack with big beautiful big brown eggs daily & the EE is second with her pretty green eggs daily!
Chickens are such fun!
