How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Our young girls have really been working this week. Three pullets, 13 eggs in 5 days- 2 two egg days, 3 three egg days.

(the sequence of eggs per day was 2-3-2-3-3)
One just started laying a week ago, the other two started four weeks ago.

About 10 yesterday. Not nearly enough for my liking. I do have some hens that need to go come spring.

We got 5 eggs from 6 layers today... one of my girls has been sick, so she's taking a vacation

6 so far, one I'm pretty sure was double!!!

We got 13, out of 15 hens on Christmas day, the most so far on any given day. One of those was a double yolker, from a BCM, she consistently lays a double yolker each day.

2 from the 4 hens I have today, I'm still thrilled though. My Norwegian Jaers should start laying soon...can't wait to see how many those girls can produce!
