How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

7 today. One slacker. They got shoveled out yesterday But all the eggs were clean today.

Only 4 from the young ones and one from the older ones. Maybe they are slowing down

Eleven eggs in the Morning, however two were cracked and will be used for scrambled eggs or baking asap and there was one "shoot-the-humon egg" in the afternoon: One of the young Runner ducks was outside, quacking, looking visibly uneasy and when i approached her, she suddenly straightened up and an egg popped out of her, right before my boots.

I love those surprise eggs. Amazing little creatures!

I got just one beautiful egg today.
Yesterday I got 2 surprise eggs at 8am while I was changing the drinking water. Turned around and two beautiful eggs lay there steaming a few feet apart in the cold air.

ONE!

It's my third egg total, and the eggs started showing up about a week ago. Ducks were hatched in mid June.
Daylight is from 8a to 4p so I am surprised to have any eggs. I have five hens in that bunch, but I am guessing that only one is laying.
They are doing well foraging but I still give them a little food in the morning.
