How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I did a full coop clean out yesterday and I think that might have stressed some ladies out, only 1 egg today.

Hmm that's odd because most the time when I clean the coop they are not stressed, in fact often getting swatted to get out of the way and stop picking through what I just dug through Even if one or so is laying, they for the most part ignore me, which is good I'm thinking.

Oof I wish lol I was getting chewed out by two of my girls while I was removing shavings.

Mine don't seem very upset by it. They DO NOT like it when i put shavings down when they are inside.. otherwise they really seem to enjoy it, they all run right in, poop and run right back out... i think it is the duck equivalent of fresh flowers

5 from the young(only 4 hens) and I am sure I got them all yesterday. 2 from the old flock. Only 6 made it in the house. One of the puppies jumped on me.

One!!! I cannot believe it but when I got to the coop this morning, one of these was finally waiting for me. Happy Easter, indeed!

7 today, it was a real egg hunt too, i changed their bedding yesterday, there wasn't much effort to keep them organized.

Got my first egg since November (southern hemisphere so they skipped the entire summer) on easter morning . Unsure if they were helping out the easter bunny or if catching and rehoming some boys on Wednesday put the fear into them they would be next
