Ok, sorry for being a stranger lately

Been averaging five eggs a day for the last two weeks with an all time high of eight a few days ago.

Twelve Runner hens and two drakes.

Found a new organic feed with grubs in it and 16% protein. Feeding that with Nutrina all flock, steamed rolled oats and Costco Small dog salmon and chick pea formula (27% protein), with the other half of their feeding as forage.

So the dogs the wife and I have been eating two or three eggs a day!

17 eggs out of 28 hens ( some might not be laying anymore )

8 eggs from 8 ducks. I keep my eggs shells, dry them, crush them and give them to ducks with their grit. Ultimate recycling.

7 eggs for 7 ducks. Even Quackers gave a real egg today.

Twenty-five eggs yesterday and today out of twenty-eight ducks. It l00ks like the average will be around two dozen eggs a day, that is over 700 eggs per month! That's a lot of duck pellets, cat-food and straw-bales for the winter.
