Mine have all been later laying this year. I guess age has alot to do with it.

6 today but we lost a drake this weekend. I believe he flew out of the pen and one of our dogs got him. Still trying to decide if we incubate eggs, order sexed ducklings from the hatchery, or get a drake from magnolia ducks.

No, it was his son. His son was all we had left from Rou, who survived a coyote attack, lived in our rented duplex for more than a month, and died from a copperhead bite the first spring after we moved out here.

Yesterday: 1xMuscovy 1xDaphne (after a hefty dose of calcium).

Today: Zero, and the Muscovies are acting shady.

There’s definitely a hidden nest somewhere…
