Morning all. Today , I got 9 beautiful eggs from 8 ducks . Someone is an overachiever!

I believe that for the most part waterfowl lay in spring only, but domesticated ducks may be different, especially in a year-round warm climate with fairly uniform day lengths. Here where I live, even ducks, geese and turkeys old enough to lay will hold off for the lengthening days of spring.

My guys lay year round. But I'm in a warm climate
