A chicken will hide/carry an egg under their wing. Same for ducks?

I found my 1st duck egg today, laying out in the open on the ground! So I decided to investigate & found 1 buried in their shelter.
So 2 duck eggs today & 23 chicken eggs (1 of those was a shell~less egg lying on the ground under a Miss Fatty Sapphire pullet). Gave 16 dozen eggs away today!!!

Someone asked how turkey eggs taste? I grew up on turkey eggs. I actually find chicken eggs bland ans originally wanted turkeys again as an adult

. I tell my chickens that all the time. My family calls me Mrs. Tweedy (Chicken Run)... don’t do that with the ducks though, I keep encouraging them to lay less

86 with 10 roosters. hatched at the end of June, July and August 2019. So they are all coming up to bat by the end of April I would guess. They are heritage breeds.

That is a lot of birds....
