How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

So my welsh has made a nest. Outside her temporary coop in the dirt with some straw in a circle around it. Why do I give them a coop if they are going to avoid it like the plague, oh yes that’s right because things around here like duck dinner to go.
Crazy ducks. But she has been giving me one egg in this nest of hers the last few days.

My Daisy out did herself today. The largest egg we have I have ever seen. With comparison with an large chicken egg. We are getting three eggs a day from four ducks.

After selling 2 laying Pekin and loosing ¹/3 of the girls to a coyote attack, egg productions has finally picked back up. For the last week I've got 0-2 eggs daily between ducks and chickens. Yesterday I did get 4, but today I got 14 beating my last record of 9 in a day.

Side note, our new Golden Cuckoo Marans fella mated our double tufted Arucana yesterday.

I steamed 2 dozen duck eggs crushed up 1 dozen for my flock of 34 the doggies (4 )will get one each on top of their food.

Got 8 eggs today and now, making some bread as my grandparents did when I was a child. I hope everyone is doing well.
