How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

3, I have some new layers, one is laying consistently in the afternoon I never had and afternoon layer.

One of ours is an evening layer a couple times a week. I go out after work to clean their pool and she lays it after I am done.

Today’s count is 4 from the spring half runners and 1 from the old flock. The one from the old flock was big enough to have been a Pekin egg. She has not laid in 4 months or more.

I didn’t update yesterday but my EEs Laid her first egg yesterday. It looked green before I washed a away the bloom (since her my BO decided a dirt hole is the best place to lay - like wtf )

Eight eggs today. It is getting lousy cold here! Drizzle and wind a terrible combination, my girls sit most of the day under the overhang of the house's roof…

A new layer started earning her keep my silkie banty Dazzle laid the cutest little pale pinkish brown egg. I know it's hers because she was still in the nest box when I went to check.
So that gives me 3 bantam and 1 full sized layer. 1 more bantam and 8 more big girls have yet to start earning their keep.

Today we got 9 eggs (8:30AM), this includes 1 who laid late yesterday evening so technically 8.

We have 10 hens old enough to lay- but 1 is broody so not laying The other is a young Silkie new to laying and lays later in the day.
