Still at zero, and I’m officially calling the egg-laying season over as there’s snow on the ground, the gray skies have taken over, and the ducks are feeling very little motivation to leave the barn. I bought eggs at the store for the first time in a long while. They look so tiny! Anyways, a great big congratulations to Daphne for making it through another laying season! Let the free-loading begin!

Have you tried to feed them some catfood? - My ducks love this stuff and it helped them greatly to get through their molt:

The battle is still being fought. We had a few inches of snow with accompanying cold at the beginning of the week, but today will almost be 60 degrees F. Winter will, of course, win, but I do appreciate the occasional nice day! How is it in your neck of the woods?

Three so far but Snowflake is still sitting and somebody is laying dinosaur eggs. So big I can't close the carton.
