We have 4 WH's and all have laid an egg every day this year except for two days.

Is it normal for ducks to have stopped laying by this time in winter? I live in the north and my girls haven't been laying for a month or two now.

Creme Brulee, lemon pie. Crust less quiche. Egg salad, deviled eggs. I dropped an 18, this morning. What a mess.

It depends: With less than 10 hours of daylight, ducks usually stop laying eggs unless they are being fed a more protein rich diet. My ducks get some cat-food treats every morning and evening and they only have slowed down, laying an egg every 2-3 days.

7. Almost at max of 8. The young ones got out of their pen while I was cleaning the pool. We usually have trouble getting them out into the yard. As usual it was like herding cats getting them back in. A little while later they went right in their coop when I told them to.
