Or the Asian Supermarket that may pay some of the food cost. I get $2.75 for one dozen of duck-eggs, which covers the pellets and the straw.

Of course! However when I went to my breeder to buy "ducklings" I soon learned that they were already a few weeks old. Anyways, I got 2 khaki Campbells and one pekin. The pekin will be 3 weeks tomorrow and the Campbells were born on the 4th of December. My only problem so far is that they are extremely scared of people as they were only with other ducks at the breeder.

Scared duckling can be tamed with treats. Just be around them as much as you can, pick them up a lot so that they learn that being picked up is not equal to loose body parts and reward them with meal-worms or peas. They might not become as tame as ducklings hatched in your hand, but can still become good pets. It is just a lot more work…
