How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

My 13 hens are still laying through this winter. I am getting 8-10 eggs a day. They are 10 months old and have been laying since 15-18 weeks old. I have never had 13 eggs though. They are either taking turns or 3 are not laying. I dont know the answer to that one.

However, one of the October batch has come on line; more specifically, one of the Blues, judging by the green egg.

Hey Hillbilly, greens are fairly plentiful year round here in the Pacific rim, but with all the snow on the ground, the Bosslady was really pumping them full of pellets.

Three eggs today. All three were frozen and exploded though :/ I had to be at work by 7 this morning and just got home and asked my fam to check. They didnt, lol

1 more duck egg today, I think from Karen. When I let her out of the coop this morning she had a massive poo that could only be the result of her holding it all night while laying on the nest

I am so glad that i have started early this year to grow fodder! Still my duckies love a little bit of cabbage here and there.

That is why I named her Karen, she was an injured feral duck when I took her in and she HATED me, she definitely wanted to speak to my manager.
