Recently I've been getting 2 eggs from 5 ducks, not bad for the weather! In summer I usually get 4-5 from the females!

I remember when one of my chickens started molting, it was a feather here, a feather there, then like you said, feathers everywhere, at first I thought a predator got them, then I realized, oh, she's molting. good thing they are not like my rottentoo. When he gets new crest feathers in, he can get testy for a few days.
