As of Friday still just 1 duck egg but some of my hens that have been dormant are beginning to start 3 chicken eggs.

Today, I don't know, I've been too sick to collect. My 5 younger girls have all started reliably. I have a couple of Molters ain the older 8. So enough to take 7 dozen to the food bank yesterday.

Been busy, but am still finding two daily from Matilda and Puddles. However, my pied Muscovy hen is spending more time close to the barn in the way she does the week before she starts laying. Sadly, Daphne is acting a bit “eggy” at the moment too after enjoying lots of sun. Why, oh why, must her body still try to make eggs?! Maybe she’s just resting after foraging all day with her younger sisters...

My white Muscovy hen is still plodding along in her carefree winter way, splitting her time between Daphne + the Brown Ducks and her sister.
