I posted that I was selling chicken and duck eggs on Craigslist and the response is almost overwhelming. I have received many emails from people wanting to buy eggs. I didn't realize that there are so many people out there that like duck eggs. I have one customer that buys 2 dozen duck eggs every 2 weeks. I received an email from a guy who wants 4 dozen fertile duck eggs but I am not able to fill his order just yet. I only have 7 female ducks and they are not laying that fast. The new customers are starting off with 2 dozen chicken eggs and really enjoy the chicken eggs, so they want to be regular customers. I have a customer that lives about 45 miles from me but I work about 30 miles away from home so I meet her at a neutral place in the city that I work and make the exchange. She has since gotten 2 more customers for me. I will not have the customers from craigslist come to my home. I will meet them somewhere safe. Only customers that I have been knowing come to my house to buy eggs. And I don't give out any personal information on Craigslist of when I respond to the emails from potential customers.

A dozen today. I'll have two dozen tomorrow morning to take in to the office. Now they're waiting outside my office when I get there at 7:45 to buy eggs for $3/dozen. I've noticed lately that we've been getting a lot of exceptionally large eggs somewhere in the jumbo range. I was handing one of the guys at work a dozen and when I opened up the carton to show him and it was obvious that every egg in it was jumbo size. Stephen was trying to hand me my $3 quickly and get out of there and I was trying to tell him that I thinking these should probably go for more like $4. He grabbed them and ran down the hall before I could protest...

Wait to go, MxPres! Eight dozen. You must be saving them up and selling them off all at one time.

Well, guess what, finally sold 4 doz. today. Now if I sell a couple more this week it'll just about pay for their rations this week. If I could do this every week that'd just be awesome,huh.
