How many Eggs did you Sell today?

I have eight dozen sitting in the fridge right now. Four dozen I'm saving for a neighbor. The other four DH needs to take to work, but forgot today.

I know that there are people on this forum who make really pretty signs and decals in the 'for sale' section.

There is a gal in MD in particular who does signs on old barn wood and they are amazing. She just had a baby, though, so I don't know if she is working at all at present.

I sell most of mine through church.

Three dozen today for $3/dz. My co-workers are lining up outside my office each morning so they can get their eggs. My nineteen Gold Comet pullets have been laying seventeen to nineteen eggs a day but production is bound to drop off with winter moving in here on the Carolinas. I'm thinking of making it an even thirty-six GC's in the spring when I can get them. Right now I can sell all the eggs we get for this price and they want more. Hey, it pays for the feed. It won't pay for the Taj Mahal of a coop and run I built for them though. Especially if they get their way and I have to add the fifty foot reflecting pool out front...

Kuntrygirl... I dont really talk or know anyone here. So my sign in the yard has helped me... lets the people driving by know I sell eggs and they can stop in. When I run out of eggs I just turn the sign around, til I build my supply back up

Well, I sold 2 doz. this morning, and then the ol' gals turned right around and laid 16 more eggs for me today. So I made a small dent in my stockpile of 'bout 47 doz.

At least that little sell can go towards the feed bill, huh?
