1 Dozen today for $3.00 and the guy was waiting at my door, I kid you not, when I came in to work!!!

3 dozen when i got home from work. and i had to put the sold out sign up. i have a order for 2 dozen for friday already . yikes. guess i need about 50 layers. not.

3 dozen today! But have more orders and I am out of eggs. Lately lots of people want farm fresh eggs!

Sometimes we sell 6 or 7 dozen a day and then there are days without selling any. We live in the heart of amish country, so it is a little harder to sell because my neighbors also sell. I have a sign that my daughter and I painted out by the road. At first we coverved it with a pillow case when we ran out or werent going to be home but now I have an open and a closed that i painted and hang them underneath. We are located near two large shopping outlets and have already had one tourist bus stop and we sold out at that point. When we get overloaded with eggs and nobody is buying we donate the eggs to a home for orphaned children. They get a kick out of our "rainbow" eggs! The chickens are my ten year olds and she sells them for $1.50 dozen and to friends she sells them for $1.
