$2.00 a dozen. However my organic customers give me $5.00 a dozen. In my area, that is about the going rate. Any higher than that, then a person would have a fridge full of eggs because no one would buy them. Fresh eggs are really "not a big thing" in my area. So many people have chickens, so it's really no big deal to have fresh eggs. Many other places (cities, states) where having chickens is the "In Thing" or the thing to write home about. It's not like that here.

4 dz and traded 2 dz for about 2 cord of green maple firewood that needs to be split. Green not split wood around here goes for about $150 a cord or so... me thinks me made a good trade.
