How Many Eggs Do They Lay Each Season?

Interesting. i appreciate your perspective. i did ask the woman if her male attacks or bites, and she said no. She said he is very protective right now of his mate and does a lot of hissing. But when she has needed to pick either of them up, they get very passive and move their heads as far away from her as possible. i just would not want to get geese that would be dangerous if i needed to move them, pick them up to medicate them, or take them to the vet.

i'm still waffling. She is asking $285 for the pair, which i think is fair, as she probably paid much more, including shipping, to buy them from Holderread's. i might be a little more compelled if her price were a tad lower. She does have another person interested. But seems like we are both waffling.

Did you get the geese? I know the lady I got my eggs from got over 30 eggs. You get more if you take the eggs away. Also, so far, I've had 75% fertility.

Sebbies can be excellent brooders, if left to it. I think some may be worse, due to several generations not needing parenting skills anymore. We hatch for them, or sell their eggs and they just eat, sleep, drink, swim, and lay.
