How many eggs do they lay?

Wow. There's another guy who has feafowl about5 miles away other than that i don't know of anybody else. My black shoulder peacock actually flew into my yard last summer. I tried everything to locate the owners. Im very curious where he came from!

I got my male from a friend in Casper who asked if I wanted a chick to raise with chicks that I was raising. I said sure. what's one more! I didn't know it was a pea chick until it showed up here. It took 5 more months to find a young female 50 miles north of here. .

I hope so! I will take her 1st few eggs and put them in the incubator. Her eggs weren't fertile last year but I'm hoping they will be this year. Will you hatch any of yours?

Hopefully! Only hatched one last year. The rest i accidentally left sit to long before i incubated them. The year before i was hoping she would sit on them. But she never did go broody and a skunk got all the eggs.

My peahen went broody last summer at 1 year old so I'm hoping she will again this year. Fortunately she made her nest in the henhouse. I would prefer for the hen to hatch and raise them even tho I always feel like I could do a better job.
