I have 25 hens. 12 barred rock, 8 rhode island reds, 4 black sex-linked and 1 mixed breed hen. I write down how many eggs I get daily and I was just wondering how many I should be getting. All the hens are around 1.5 years old and I'm averaging 15 eggs a day. I feed them egg laying mix and they have enough nesting boxes with 14 of them. Shouldn't i be getting like 18-21 eggs daily?

chickens lay eggs every 24 to 36 hours at the height of their productive years- things seem normal with your flock at this time.
note: heat and stress affects laying.
Keep them calm, cool and collected and you'll be good.

Thank you
You are most welcome
