how many eggs should i get from 13 females daily?

Hi peeps, i have 13 females, and 2 males in my 2x6 feet quail hutch.
Been getting around 6-7 eggs a day, seems a little low? they have only been laying in the last 1-2 weeks.

Are all of them laying? What breeds?

Average about 9-10 a day depending on breed. If they just starting laying the rest will catch up

they are a mix of Italian and jumbo coturnix

the jumbo coturnix are older by 2 weeks, and had been way more consistent at laying.

I don’t think jumbos lay any more eggs then normal sized quail

Some of them may only be starting to lay now or not laying yet, give them a few more weeks

What age are they? Have you switched to layer feed? With proper feed and light, you should get a dozen per day until days get shorter……then you may want to provide supplemental light
