If you were wanting a certain number of chicks to hatch. How many eggs would you set to get the right number after your hatch?
And how about pullet to rooster ratio. From a good hatch what would you expect ? How many pullets how many roosters.
Also one more question, how do you determine your hatch rate?
0 to 100% bad to good etc.
    Thanks a bunch.

I think it really depends on your bator...I'd go by past results and average them. Gender should be approximately 50/50; but there are times it's not. In my last hatch, I hatched 8; 6 were cockerels.
