How many eggs will 1 hen lay a day ?

friend had 20 hens 5 roos and getting 105 eggs . Is he trying to pull my leg ?

a hen will lay 1-2 eggs a day. Mostly 1 but occasionally 2. I hope his helps!!

Yes it does these are Huge eggs half the size of those little hens . he offerent me the battery and the whole flock for 50.00
Id love to have them but i do not know that much about upkeep and taking good care of them
what i thought i knew about chickens has been updated so i am learning new now and loving it . Tammy

What kind of quail are they? $2 per laying quail is cheap. The quail chick already cost that much. If you want to raise quail, check out the DIY quail pen. They are very easy to up keep than chicken if raise on wire. Good Luck!

Button Quail and some white ones . then the blues all 5 breeds are 2 hens 1 roo really pretty but i think they need a break from egg laying. They have not sit in a yr . any more advise ?
