How many eggs?

My Chinese goose has laid a total of 37 eggs, a lot have unfortunately broke but her nest is still very full at 26. This is her first Time laying fertilized eggs. She's doing great as a first time mom, she's rolling out the bad ones. I've read they do that, is this true? My other question is she can't obviously sit on all those. Should I take out the older ones or let nature take course?

Can you candle the eggs to see if they are viable?

I've never done that before, I'm not sure on what to look for haha.. but I will definitely look into it. Any advice would be extremely helpful! Thanks for the suggestion
