How many eggs??

I have a hen sitting, she started last tuesday 17th may, she started out with 5 one broke. I removed it of course and today cleaning out nesting boxes and placing more bedding in hers i noticed she had 3 more. Is she laying them or the other girls? I have a total of 15 hens 1 rooster and 3 pullets. 2 of the other original eggs have old yolk and bedding on them and would it be alright to wipe them off with a damp cloth?

Mark the ones you see with an X . .. . She is most likely not laying them. The other hens are hopping up there and laying eggs in her nest.

If you mark the current ones with an x, you will know which ones to remove when the other girls lay their eggs there.

You don't want eggs of all different ages hatching at different times !
