How many geese should I start with?

Well after thinking long and hard on it and checking out different breeds in person. I have decided I'm going to buy some ......drum roll please......pilgrim geese.

Now my question though, how many should I buy? I would be purchasing day old sexed goslings this spring. They would have a their own coop and free range of about an acre.

depends of the purpose your going to have them for ? i guess 5 is perfect but its your choice if you want alot or just a few

Well. I'm wanting them to mostly look cute, eat grass, make babies every now and then and make noise when people drive up.
