how many hens for a rooster

i have 2 rooster and 10 hens and i was wondering if i have to many hens for my roosters, 1 of my roosters acts more like a hen though, but my other rooster is very active with my hens and always looking out for them, my roosters are a cuckoo maran and a sumatra, the sumatra is the one that acts like a hen, i was thinking about getting rid of them but i wanted to know before i do.

The answer is; it depends. If they are getting along, no problem.. If not, eliminate one or both of them. I like having roosters in my flock, but they must be polite, to everyone and fit into the group. Mary

thay fit in really well, but my cuckoo rooster is playing favorites with my bantam and giving her a hard time, i want to keep them for fertile eggs though, i have to down size on my chickens, they are taking over my backyard and costing to much!!!
