How many hens per roo?

I agree that when two are raised together they tend to get along well. I also agree that the hens do seem very happy with one. I just don't like having one because if something happens to him, you are left with none.

But all of it really depends on the top rooster. If he is good at his job, everyone gets along well. If he is not, no one is happy.

This is very, very true. It really depends on the personality of the top roo.
