how many hens can i have in here....measurements are 8x4=32sqft plus the box to roost

ETA: depending on how much time they will be spending in the coop.

4 square feet inside coop for large fowl 10 square outside space!

but, like bsaffles said depends if they always have access to out doors (an outside run or free range)

if it is a run is it covered (can they always get out?)

size can alter this a bit too (you would want to give a Brahma more room than an Campine!)
