How many here are actual backyarders vs. Farmers?

I dont know that Im a farmer, but Im certainly not a back yarder. Have over 100 hens that I sell all the eggs from every day. Raise and race horses, with several mares and foals, and 6 at the track. On 10 acres.

The locals do a little hunting.

Backyarder. My backyard is about 1/9 of an acre, my seven chickens get to roam about half that.

Well, I'm a crappy "food" farmer... my gardening absolutely stinks

The property and cows don't belong to us (well aside from my jersey milker, Jezzie), we just manage the herd and property and in return, get to live here and keep our own bit of stock.

Now bout then horses......

We don't and won't have any, as much as I'd like too. Just no money in it here
