How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop!?

ok so i was off a little bit...

I usually let the tootie roll pop in my mouth, letting it melt little by little or put it in cheek and suck on it for a while. My tongue gets sore or cut up by those "glass" cuts. I think grape and browns are the least cutting pops than the cherry, lemon and orange. I believe orange is the worst in cutting tongues.

Delicious! Better than counting the holes in the ceiling or listening to your bed partner across from you snoring.

yeah i would do some tests but all i have are some blowpops im trying one of those anyway already at 97 licks but no where close to the middle

I think the number of licks would depend upon tongue surface area and saliva production.

We need a more scientific approach here people.

What do you use as a control subject? A Dum-Dum? 'Cause it is a tootsie roll pop without the tootsie roll. (kind of like ordering a wopper-hold the beef.

I am assuming mine don't count. I cut the stick off and pop the whole thing in my mouth. So one.
