How many male pheasants per female

When we breed ringnecks at the farm we keep 1rooster per 8-10 hens and have great fertility.

Same ratio here with great fertility.

If I didn't know people were talking about pheasants, I'd think they were talking about chickens. Are male pheasants usually referred to as 'roosters'?
