We are a family of 2. I go with 50, most are butchered as game hens. The wife likes the breast, I like the dark,,,,,,,,,,,,, so 1 chicken to feed two. I put water in the bag and push out the air to prevent freezer burn. I also agree 25 is a good starting number.
