Thank you, I will save this and mail you for more info.

the dream trip is one of 2 things...

#1 - is to drive the alaskan highway up....my great grandfather left his family for 13 yrs and disappeared,
he ended up working on the yukon highway? I think thats what he called it.

#2 - would be to take a cruise and whale watch etc...but i think I would be bored to tears cooped
up on a boat with 1200 of my closest friends heh

Used to love those shows, but I never seemed to be as lucky or as successful as they made it look on TV. Got some of their videos I could get out and watch. Always thought I'd like to try MN for fishing as I like walleye but especially like yellow perch for eating. We do have those here in some of our lakes.

Glad you joined in this thread.

...well I wont spoil it for you by telling you about the pre fishing and the giant room size aquarium they use....
shhhhhhhh

It was crazy, at dad's funeral it was babe, al and his brother, and ted takasaki, many others
that dont have shows etc. He had quite a life.

That's cool! I always wondered how much footage they had to remove from those tapes to actually cut a video. but then I have had a few lucky days, when everything seemed to work just right. I never thought of it as skill, but some days I'd be nailing the fish and the other two in the boat, were coming up empty. I used to think maybe all the time I spent watching the videos paid off for me. Of course, with me driving the boat, they were basically my fish.

I used to follow the shows as much as I could when they were on locally. Now I'm lucky to even get out that much, so ya kinda get outta touch with it.

We live on Lake Erie and all love to fish. Here's a picture from last year when my son was 10, caught a cobia on his first ocean trip! Grilled him up quick!

I like to fish in the summertime. We normally catch largemouth and smallmouth bass with the occasional perch or pickeral. We even caught a pike once.

My friend James said he would take me ice fishing this winter.

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday.... The weather supposed to be awfull and I have the day off. I hope to have the lake to myself. I need to stock my freezer with shad so I have enough cutbait to start the year and I believe it will be a great day to cast a few some bead headed flys or deep diving cranks.... Wish me luck.

I love fishing....here is me at fish camp in Manley Hot Springs Alaska...I have a friend who lived on a homestead in the bush for years and they put up like 1000 salmon every fall. It was a major chore, learning experience and fun. There is no other fishing like in AK. Mostly my hubby catches them and I paint them
