How many of you still live in your hometown?

Well I kinda sorta do, I dont live in town but on the same land I grew up on. All 12 of use kids received land from my Mom and Dad so I live about 4 miles south of Mom and Dad on my part of paridise. So I get to see my parents daily. My brothers all live on seperate ranch/farms and lease their land out.

We will if my mom give us her house. We are about an hour away. Honestly though I don't want to live in my childhood home in the city I was raised in. I have a lot of bad memories from that place. I love the house though. And a SUPER bad thing is you can't have chickens there,so I would have to keep them under cover.

I did mention to the kids they could attend the high school there since I won't let them attend our district(bullying stuff the district blew off). We shall see what the future holds.

My hometown got huge.Taxes got higher. Not sure on the crime. I do like the neighborhood the house is in.Seems safe and the sidewalks are nice.Would be a good place for the kids.

When I got married, I moved to my husbands hometown in Indiana and we lived there for 5 years, then we decided to move back to mine and have been in my hometown for 10 years. Well out in the country of my hometown that is!We are a small farming community population 1200. We are very happy here too!
