I get it too.
I was just going to subscribe when my chicken friend told me they had special rates for gift subscriptions and she got me one for Xmas. Now she is mad that my issues always seem to come before hers. I love the magazine but, wish it was purely chickens. The only bad thing is reading the issues cuts into the hours I spend on the BYC forum. I don't have any chickens yet but, I am always sneaking to the computer for just a" short look," at the lastest postings. Talk about addictions, I can be up till 4-5 am reading them and falling asleep in the computer chair.

Now and then I get dumped out of the chair, wake up and think "wow, I'm near the computer, time to check BVC forums again!! I know there is no help for me.

I get it! My mom got a subscription card for it in the mail (probably because she subscribes to Mother Earth) and ordered it for herself, but hands it directly over to me every time. It's a nice magazine.
