My wife gave me a subscription for christmas. I got my first issue yesterday and have just started reading it.

I typed in Backyardpoultry.com and found my first Chicken Forum. I thought it was from the magazine - turned out they were all from "Down Under". I couldn't figure out why they didn't sound like me and why the time was so different.

Then I found BYC - thank goodness.
