But the OP wanted to know what we
thought about people in other lands. I choose to see them as more similar than disparate, as brothers and sisters. It's a "glass half full" kinda thing.
While I recognize their differences, taste it in their food, and so on - when I look in their eyes, I see a brother or sister. That is the best place to start, with all people.
However, I am not eager to get shot and I know not all people on the globe are as eclectic as I. So, sadly, I avoid those places in the world where trouble is in the odds.
