Do they really stay on?

Does anyone sell different colors so I can use a different color on each hen?

Can you use then on feather-leg breeds?(brahmas)

Thanks all!!

I use a different color each year (bandettes from Cutlers) for the new pullets. That way I can tell at a glance when and where they came from, since I also keep a notebook of which breeder or hatchery they came from.

I use adjustable, numbered aluminum bands - so I only have to buy one size/style. I write down their numbers in a notebook.
Most of the hens I know at a glance, but there are a few that have a "twin" (two BO hens, I put one's band on the left leg, the other's band on the right leg so I could tell at a glance)

I started banding my birds after a few were stolen. Wing bands would be better if you have valuable poultry to protect, but these were just some theiving teenagers

We use different color tie-wraps(or as some call them, zip ties). Cheap and come in many different colors(also easy to find).
