Hi my hen is starting to lay eggs today was her first i come home for lunch and found a 2nd new one and as i was leaving i was watching and she was getting ready to have another one is this normal or should i be worried?

Yes my roo won't let any of the other hens in the coop since this morning only the one hen has been in.

And you've watched the flock all day - no breaks?

I've had very abnormal things happen with egg laying. For about a week, I had a Jaerhon hen fly out of her pen, only to fly into another pen where she was persecuted, just to lay an egg in that nest.
I only witnessed it twice but she laid white eggs and all the hens in the pen she flew into laid very dark eggs. There was a white egg in that pen's nests every day for the week. I don't know how she knew there was even a nest in that building since she had never been in there, nor I know why she quit the habit.

We have security cameras and checked on them a lot we have had some stray dogs trying to get into the pen lately every time I checked the other 2 hens where outside and the roo was on the tank taking up the walk way.

While ovulation rates can vary with young pullets, I guess anything is possible.
I would be shocked however if a pullet laid 3 good eggs in a day. It takes 25 hours to form an egg. For 21 of those hours the egg is in the shell gland getting the calcium and pigment added. The shell gland isn't much larger than an egg so it seems unlikely that 3 eggs would be occupying that space at the same time in order to complete forming 3 good shells in the several hours mentioned.

I suspect you have multiple layers.

She didn't end up pumping out a third one went and checked could it of been since it was her first time she was just making it look like she was going for 3.

That's possible. When they are close they often sit in the nest frequently the week before they lay an egg.

Are they all the same breed or will you be able to tell them apart by egg color?

The 1 RIR hen and the roo is a RIR the other 2 is a white crested polish and a black crested gold polish.

Edit: If I'm not mistaken polish chickens lay white eggs the ones there are Brown and checked a bit ago three are 3 now
