Throwing these in to show their backs. Are those saddle feathers on them?

The barred rock is a roo. I am looking at the size and the wattles.

Are the two red ones bigger than your other birds of the same breed? Pick them up and check out the feathers coming in by the tail. If they are round, they are females, if they are pointy and a dark shiny red, they are males. You will have to spread the top feathers out and check the under lying coat to see the new saddle feathers coming in.

I don't see any wattles on the red birds......

#1- roo, but unsure-I can't really distinguish the saddle feathers.
#2-roo has those long thin saddle feathers.
#3 guaranteed girl!!!

If you look at the pic of #2 and #3, they have different feathers on their backs right before their tail. #3, the feathers are roundish, shortish, and in #2, they are long and thin, easy to see. Now which does #1 have?
